WELLNESS WHEEL

Are you are experiencing any of the following issues:  financial, relational (could be co-ed, same gender, neighbors, family), health (whether physical or mental), work, legal, or other?  If you answered yes, then turn the WELLNESS WHEEL to SLICE #1.  Evaluate whether or not the description listed in SLICE #1 is the cause for what you are experiencing.  If not, then proceed through the other slices until you find a possible cause for the situation that you are in at the moment.  For a more detailed description of each slice, read below.

SLICE #5 – Were you born into a situation in order to bring glory to GOD?  Look at an example of this in John 9:1-3.

SLICE #6 – Could it be that we are being tormented by Satan or Evil Spirits – OR – that we are doing things that are opening a door for Evil Spirits to operate in our lives?

1.       Tormented by Satan or an Evil Spirit

a.       2 Corinthians 12:7-10 – An Evil Spirit was allowed to torment Paul, in order that he would not become conceited

3.       Matthew 4:7 – When tempted by Satan, Jesus said, “You shall not tempt the Lord your GOD.”

4.       Deuteronomy 6:16 – We should never tempt or test the Lord.  So, are we testing GOD and bringing discipline on ourselves?  Are we breaking laws by speeding, not wearing a seat-belt, or talking on the cell phone while driving?

5.       Hebrews 12:6 – The LORD loves us, but sometimes has to discipline us as a parent does their child

SLICE #8 – What if you’re not able to determine the ROOT CAUSE of your current situation?

Then look at these scriptures as an encouragement to continue being faithful.  Remember that when Christ told the Apostles to get into a boat and go to the other side a storm came.  It wasn’t anything they had caused, but it was rather a trial or a test.  We know this because they were clearly doing exactly what the Lord had told them.

Other Considerations:

·         Proverbs 3:5 – Lean not on your own understanding

·         James 1:5 – Ask for wisdom when you lack it

·         Deuteronomy 29:29 – Remember that the SECRET things belong to GOD.  So, if GOD does not reveal an answer, continue to pray and to be faithful.

**REMEMBER to continue cycling through the WELLNESS WHEEL diligently and often in order to perpetually cleanse yourself of any possible reasons for missed blessings.
