EVANGELISTIC IDEAS

Please add to these Ideas and/or make Comments on the existing ideas.

1. Reverse Trick-or-Treating.  Bring some Candy, Baked Goods, Tracks etc. Go to other peoples houses (Your neighbors in close vicinity [Next door, across the street, The people within your sphere of influence]) Take items to them.  Share with them the Love of Jesus.

2. Visit Open Houses.  Every Saturday and Sunday afternoon, there are open houses at homes that are for Sale.  Drive around or look in the paper. Pray prior to entering a home.  Take one-two other persons, for safety and as to not appear to be not looking at the home. Be legitimate (i.e. Be authentic; either be serious about buying a home now or at some time in the future.  Share some of the things that are going on at church: What events are happening, what ministries are relevant at your Church.  Search to see what their interests are and encourage them to visit them.

3. Garage Sales.  Mostly on Saturdays and Sunday early afternoon. Same prinicipal as Open Houses; Drive around or look in the paper. You may be more comfortable with a Garage Sale; since it is browsing. The reason that a Garage Sale is an Evangelistic opportunity; is that owners welcome visiters. Some prudeness must be taken and curtousy; since at busy Garage Sales the customers may be extended, helping other patrons.

4. The Mall or other sales location.  Most sales-persoers are bored. Thus, they are waiting for customers. This is a perfect opportunity to learn about the product, while at the same time sharing about Christ. Some examples of these situations are: Jewelry stores, Cell phones Kiosk’s,  etc

5. Community ”Resurrection Sunday” Egg Hunt. Hide eggs around the yard. Place in the Eggs the Ressurrection Story.  As the kids bring back the eggs they are opened based on a cross-reference to the Salvation Story.
