THURSDAY, OCT 29TH – MOSAIC CHILI BAKE-OFF
To “spice things up,” we are having our annual Chili Bake-Off. What’s that? Nine or ten folks from the group are bringing their favorite chili to share. So we’ll start at 6:30 P.M. With a chili dinner – only $3. Love to have you with us. We will start our regular program at 7:15. At 8:45, we will return to CrossPoint Theater for cider and donuts – a perfect snack for late October.

SATURDAY, OCT 31ST – REVERSE TRICK-OR-TREATING
What is the one day of the year when people are actually receptive to strangers knocking on their doors? You guessed it…HALLOWEEN! So, why not take advantage of it to go out to meet your neighbors and share the love of Christ with them? Instead of collecting candy, take candy or other goodies to give to them along with a Christian tract. So, round up your friends, pick a neighborhood, and celebrate Halloween the way Jesus would.
SAT, OCT 31ST – TRUNK OR TREAT AT LOCKPORT ALLIANCE
1st Annual Trunk-or-Treat. SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31st from 2 – 4pm for kids 2 – 10. Family friendly event with games, refreshments, balloons, prizes, and good old fashioned trick-or-treating. Costume parade at 3pm. Family friendly costumes only – please no scary masks, weapons, or blood. Free goodie bags to first 250 registrants. For those bringing their cars/trucks for the trick-or-treating: Please decorate your vehicle and come in costume if you want to – please nothing scary. Please bring enough candy for 250 kids. Please plan on being at the church by 1pm to line up and be prepared for early-comers.

Tickets are now available for our annual Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday, November 19th in the CrossPoint Theater. Dinner comes with all the traditional fixings (including delicious dessert!). FRI, NOV 20TH – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR OUTREACH
True Praise & Worship, 578 Walden Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14211 needs volunteers for a Children’s Outreach Ministry which will reach children between the ages of 4 to 13 with the gospel. This is a monthly event on the third Friday of each month from 6:00-9:00pm. Children will play games, have dinner, have a devotional/gospel presentation, and have opportunities to be prayed for and with. Many of the children will come from the projects located nearby. Typical numbers will range from 70 to 100 (including adult volunteers). Volunteers are needed to help set-up, cook/serve food, facilitate games, communicate the gospel, and pray for the kids.
